Hi, I’m Shan—founder of House of Shan. I live in Austin, TX with my husband Greg and our four boys. Greg and I grew up together in Minnesota (yep, high school sweethearts!), and I feel incredibly lucky that we found our way back to each other and get to raise this wonderfully spirited crew together.

I started House of Shan in 2020 after losing my mom. She was my person, and her passing changed the way I looked at life. House of Shan began as a love letter to her—and as a reminder that life is precious, imperfect and meant to be lived doing what you love.

Our signature Imperfect Heart represents just that: embracing the beautiful imperfections of life and sharing a little more love along the way.

From the beginning, I wanted House of Shan to be about more than what we sell. Giving back has been at the heart of our brand from day one, with $5 from every purchase donated to charity.

What started as something deeply personal has grown into a community I never could have imagined. Nothing makes me happier than seeing our heart out in the world and knowing the message behind it continues to spread:
